836,961 Stand Up & Take Action for the MDGs

PADEAP Nigeria first held Stand-up events in 2006 mobilizing 45,000 people in funtua local government area and neighboring towns in Katsina state. In 2007 PADEAP increased the number of states to three (Katsina, Zamfara and Kebbi) and part of Kaduna state with total stand-up figures at 477,714 people.  This year 2008 saw the addition of two more states (Sokoto and Kaduna fully) to the campaign to make it five northwest states with correspondence with Jigawa State. Total figures stood at an amazing 836,961 people standing up in the northwest zone for the campaign.

    The stand up event in funtua, katsina state, Nigeria,was a success and i will be glad to be a part of it again.

    people of Funtua are really benefiting from ALL your services myself inclusive.your mission is not understood by many, and that is not unconnected to restricting the annoucements of your programmes to the group of people you deal with i.e corpers, Bello led youth organisation,litercy leaners and Hauwa community secondary school.

    I want enquire about the formation of pan African movement started in Funtua.I attended the meeting twice before i leave.What is going on now?
